Amazon Sales Rank: #233039 in Home Color: Black/Dusk Brand: Bissell Model: 20Q9 Dimensions: 42.00" h x 15.00" w x 13.00" l, 19.50 pounds Bagless technology extends suction power for more thorough cleaning HEPA media filter captures 99.9 percent of dust mites, pollens, and ragweed Powerful 12-amp motor; extra-wide cleaning path with side brushes to reach more dirt On-board tools include TurboBrush for pet hair, stairs 7 height adjustments; 27-foot power cord; 1-year warranty

Amazon.com Review This cleaning machine tackles it all, from wood floors to carpets and from furniture to drapes, and its lightweight construction makes it easy to push from room to room or carry upstairs. Employing the maximum possible power of 12 amps, this vacuum has excellent suction that pulls in microscopic dirt particles as well as heavier items such as spilled nuggets of dog food or peas. The vacuum cleaner's head adjusts to seven different heights, depending on the surface it is cleaning. An extra-wide cleaning path gathers more dirt in one push and additional side brushes on the edges ensure that the perimeters of the room are not missed. A carpet sensor glows red as it passes over a dirty section of carpet and turns green when it detects that a section of carpet is finally clean. Other potential allergens from the air are captured in the HEPA media filter, which has a track record of collecting 99.9% of dust mites, pollens, and ragweeds. All particles are deposited into this bagless vacuum's plastic dirt container, which has a lockable lever to prevent spilling and saves a ton of time and hassle in locating replacement vacuum bags. In addition, this bagless system makes it easy to spot when the dirt container needs emptying so the CleanView II Plus constantly provides effective suction; whereas, it is difficult to know if vacuum bags are full and a stuffed bag can cause a vacuum to operate at less than capacity. Onboard tools that come with this vacuum include a crevice tool, dusting brush, extension wand, and a TurboBrush, which has a rotating brush that is more accurate in picking up pet hair or cleaning stairs or drapes. The CleanView II Plus has a 27-inch power cord, a stretch hose, and is covered by Bissell under a limited one-year warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

I based my decision to buy this from the reviews on amazon.com I bought this vacuum for my apartment in New York with two other roommates. I have hardwood floors throughout the apartment. And I found that this difference is a bit "too much for this. I learned that this kind of vacuum is great for carpets. And yet he did his job well on the bare floor. All the components have worked well, and attachments can be quite useful. MAINTENANCE: You must regularly clean this vacuum. There are about 5 parts to be cleaned thoroughly. These filters are reusable plastic separating powder from the crumbs that larger pieces could be empty. So the vacuum to function properly these Filters should be cleaned by washing in soapy water, removed and dried. If the filter clogs poor maintenance can damage the engine in a roommate in our apartment that was a problem. Because let's face it, who likes to clean? We have a cleaning program to keep all partners play their part in cleaning. But the problem arose that the vacuum cleaner and the vacuum was not maintained and eventually the engine to overheat and broke. This conclusion is a big gap and I recommend for those who have carpet apartments. For those of us with hardwood floors or a roommate situation, this is not the best vacuum they have. In fact, it is best to avoid the lowest empty bag. Just go to the more traditional vacuum bag, everyone can (partners) split the cost of the bags. I went to a local authorized repair center and learn about the research work life less empty and devoid of economic as available. What I learned, low-end vacuum cleaners, because this is about two years or more worth of use if properly maintained before they break, it has to do with the quality of the engine they use on these things. I also learned about the pros and cons of the bag-less vacuum cleaner. The benefits are clear - no bags to buy the vacuum, and less waste to use - it is a bit more organic to have a bag less vacuum. Disadvantages are the maintenance. The vacuum must be thoroughly cleaned regularly of their own. 116 of 121 people found the following review helpful. Wow, only took about two years. ** READ MY Review by techdad updates DOWN ** The Bissell Clean View II vacuum is a quick recommendation of Consumer Reports if low price is an important issue. When I did, so if you do not want too much money to spend, this very well. They were right and I am satisfied with the ~ $ 80 spent on this vacuum. The 3576 model is the model 3576-6, turbo brush without a cable and a little bigger, but they are the same price is a CR Best Buy model in Eureka, nearly double the cost. If I had more space to clean, other than my living room carpet and a long corridor hallway, I would have considered the Eureka. PROS: - Get all - long hose with attachment tools - Easy to assemble - rope of 27 meters - Easy to empty dirt cup - HEPA filter - cheap replacement filter (HEPA filter media is $ 9.99) - Beacon - Soft-sided Bumper - Stack adjust settings - Easy to handle - 1 year warranty CONS: - Very High - Big & Heavy - Wheels make much noise - Turbo brush is hard to remove from the storage slot - 1 year warranty I live in an apartment that hardwood floors. I bought a stick vac with a 6-amp motor for use in a living room rug, a runner-runner, and a small piece of carpet in the room. After a while I realized it did not work very well at all. It tends to dirt, dust and pet hair to suck it instead of a button, I decided to finally stop playing around with a stick vacs and decided to launch a full-size one to get. I mentioned the Consumer Reports for advice and although I really wanted.

The tale of four draws from Charles Bailey Jr. We had a Dyson, it has terrible job on wood / tile floors - it was second hand shop. So we bought 3 last month vacuum (Hoover S3765-040, U6630-900 Hoover, Bissell and 37604) from the local big box stores. Unfortunately, Amazon too great a risk to buy expensive things from you if you do not know how they work. By far the best Bissell 37604th It's the only thing we did not have to use a stick vacuum cleaner to clean the floor where the dogs sleep sometimes. It was the best on the indoor / outdoor carpet, rugs and tiles. It is also very easy to use and clean. Shows that you do not always have to spend a lot of money. 28 of 28 people found the following review helpful. This actually works! By Lauren cash with many cats and three retriever, we had been to get rid of pet hair. We saw a review of this and gave it a try. The vacuum suction is excellent and does a good job for picking up pet hair and heavy (! And everything else) function can do is lift-off is very convenient for the chairs, curtains, stairs, awnings - you name it, it is extremely easy to empty (only the empty cup) and works well on shag and "flat" carpet and wood floors and vinyl. We saved a lot by buying from Amazon - especially with no tax and free shipping. Time will tell whether it is a reliable product, but for now, I'm thrilled. 25 of 25 customers found this review helpful. ACC better by Thomas P. This nifty little vacuum accomplishes what no other vacuum can. It's powerful and robust yet light to handle. I was thinking about buying a Dyson, but they are so heavy to push around and needed a flexible power head, which can reach under furniture. The head of the energy states almost totally flat and slides easily under beds, sofas and other furniture. All components are durable and lightweight. The hose is excellent and telescopic aluminum part is very solid. It comes with a crevice tool and dusting brush that are in the loop of hose and a brush to separate well-made hard floor bristles with roots and wheels, and upholstery brush. The fact that I have to pick up lint and dust from the filter is a real advantage, bagless models are usually so uncomfortable for that reason. This vacuum cleans its own filter with a simple operation is the control on the handle of the pipe, and no buttons are switches, there are 3 on / off switch, bare floor / carpet and suction control of which there are 2 levels. There are two indicator lights (one blue neon cool!) Tank to the level of evacuation and cleaning of the filter. It is very easy to lift the container of powder and press a lever to empty out. I've found something better to do this without too much shake or stir the dust cloud as it can heal the tank if we are not careful, so I just dusted off the lid and body with a cloth to clean dust Swiffer end. I was pretty shocked at what the cleaner crop, it seemed to remove dirt that is embedded in the carpet was really average and I was with my regular vacuum Kenmoore. The only problem I have is that the power head is noisy, but I can forgive it because he works hard. The packaging itself makes no sound when you switch to bare soil is quieter than the average In addition, I am not sure that the head of the energy that also includes the ability to bare soil, I have better results with the bare floor brush. All of a super sleek high-tech piece of Swedish technology. It is expensive, but will buy the Rolls Royce of vacuum cleaners. 26 of 26 people found this review helpful. Well, if you stop working for vacuum MLT I bought this last year and yes there was emptiness in my dreams. Easy to use and highly effective. But I made the mistake of leaving it connected all night. I came home from work to find that he had stopped working. I realized that there is but Electrolux Eureka and got it right to the workshop, which has been in the past three months. It seems that they are waiting for a part. What I said is not to leave them connected, there is a defect in the probe that caused such a short circuit. Think carefully before you fill this gap 25 out of 25 customers this review helpful. Pretty impressive by Bob Phillips honest, I'm afraid trying to clarify, household appliances Sun I bought this after my exams but usually by Consumer Reports, research on the net, etc. The most important part of it, however, was in fact their hands on one and try it in the shop. It is certainly one of the more expensive vacuum cleaner can be found. But my wife wanted a can and we wanted something light and easy to circumvent. And there I was sold on this thing. It is very ergonomically friendly. It is compact, lightweight, beautiful, and it feels largely intuitive. I wanted him to not require us to bend down to change the settings and the thing seems to have it all. The length of the handle is easily adjustable knobs allow a quick switch to get the brush off in the engine head to move and adjust the height of the head, buttons to press with the feet are strong and not thin and lean in terms of how it empty - seems to do a great job. Dyson DC07 All-Floors Cyclone Upright Vacuum Cleaner

Dyson DC07 upright vacuum cleaner with patented Root8Cyclone technology has double the suction of other vacuums. Tests show Dyson's suction is double after 10 ounces of dust. Others lose suction - the more you use them, the less they work.

Amazon Sales Rank: #79359 in Home Brand: Dyson Model: 00001 Released on: 2003-01-01 Number of items: 1 Dimensions: 9.88" h x 14.63" w x 38.88" l, 24.00 pounds Vacuum cleaner with cyclonic design ensures powerful, consistent suction Bag-free dirt collection provides hygienic emptying trigger Long-lasting filtration system with HEPA filter; certified asthma friendly Includes 17-foot hose, crevice tool, dusting brush, and upholstery attachment Measures 14 by 13-1/2 by 46 inches; 5-year warranty

Amazon.com Review Designed by engineering guru James Dyson, inventor of the cyclonic vacuum, the 12-amp Dyson DC07 upright is an inspired combination of power and structural smarts. At the center of the machine's innovation is the Cyclone air path design, an eight-section chamber that creates powerful, consistent suction. The conical chambers generate 100,000 g of centrifugal force, pushing dust and dirt out of the airflow into the vacuum's 1-gallon collection cup. With no bag to clog, the vacuum's 270 air watts of suction remain steady. The large, transparent collection cup is easy to check and empties tidily--pop it off, hold it over a trash bin, and pull the trigger to release dirt without having to touch it. The DC07 also comes equipped with a multipart filtration system to improve overall air quality in the home. The HEPA filter, measuring 412 square inches in surface area, traps microscopic particulates and allergens. Expertly built, the filter is designed to last the lifetime of the machine. Furthermore, Dyson upright vacuums are the first and only vacuums certified asthma friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation. Suitable for bare floors and carpets, the Dyson upright features a 14-inch cleaning path and edge-cleaning bristles. A simple foot pedal switches off the brush roll for bare floors, and the nozzle automatically adjusts for changes in carpet height. The vacuum is equipped for above-floor cleaning with a cleverly stowed, quick-release 17-foot hose with a reversible, extension-wand handle. Onboard accessories include a crevice tool, a dusting brush, and an upholstery attachment, all designed to function without "sticking" to surfaces. Made from the same material used in crash helmets, the vacuum is unquestionably durable. Plus, the design only puts 4 pounds of weight on the handle, so pushing and turning is easy. This model comes with a 35-foot power cord and a five -year warranty. --Emily Bedard Dyson Root8Cyclone vacuum cleaners have the only quick-draw hose and are hygienic and easy to empty. The brush control system protects rugs and delicate floors, and the lifetime HEPA filters mean there are no bags or filters to buy. The most powerful uprightDyson scientists developed the Root8Cyclone to give higher suction power and pick up more dust. The Root8Cyclone is the first vacuum cleaner that doesn't lose suction. The only quick-draw hoseJust press the catch and the 17ft hose is ready to use: no awkward parts to assemblereaches to the top of the stairscleans under low furnituredoesn't pull the machine over Hygienic and quick to emptyYou don't have to touch the dust, just pull the trigger. No extra costsThere are no bags to buy and the filters are so efficient they last for the lifetime of the machine. Protects rugs and delicate floorsThe brush control system protects rug fringes and the drive belt. The foot operated control easily turns the brush off when cleaning delicate rugs and hard floors. Approved for allergy sufferersThe HEPA filter has a surface area of 416in.2 and is designed to retain the highest levels of microscopic dust particles and allergens. Automatic carpet height adjustmentThe Dyson adjusts automatically to different carpet heights, so there are no awkward dials to adjust. Light and easy to maneuverThe motor and wheel geometry balances the machine so the weight on the handle is only 4lbs. So it is easy on your wrist and light to steer around furniture. Edge cleaning whiskersDCO7's suction is channeled up to the edges of the cleaner head. The whiskers are angled out to reach down between the baseboard and the floor, flicking dust directly into the airflow. Reversible wandReverse the wand and hold the handle to give you a firm grip when reaching into awkward corners. High velocity airflow toolsConventional tools can stick to carpets or curtains. This stops them from cleaning effectively and can make them hard work to use. The channels on the DCO7 tools direct the air down into the carpet pile. This has two main advantages:You pick up more because the directional force of the air agitates and dislodges dust. The airflow is continuous even when vacuuming curtains or upholstery, preventing them from becoming stuck to the tools. Clear binThis has 4 clear advantages:You can see how well the Dyson worksYou can always tell when it's fullIt is easy to emptyYou can retrieve lost objects Tough constructionMade from the strongest materials, used in the manufacture of crash helmets, cars and pipelines. 2-year limited household warrantyAll of the components of DCO7 have been extensively tested for durability and reliability in Dyson's in-house testing facility. Dyson vacuum cleaners are warranted for a period of two years from date of purchase. 12 amps 270 airwatts constant suction 1-gallon bin capacity 35-foot cord Feeling let down by your vacuum? "I was so frustrated with my vacuum cleaner - the bag quickly clogged with dust, destroying the suction. I set about developing an entirely new type of vacuum cleaner to solve this problem.More than 5,000 prototypes later I was at last able to launch the patented Dyson Cyclone, the first vacuum cleaner that doesn't lose suction. The Root8Cyclone is the latest Dyson vacuum - it has the highest suction power and picks up more dirt from your home."--James Dyson What Makes Dyson Different Bags clog suction How airflow is restrictedWhen the vacuum cleaner is empty, clean air flows into the machine and out through the pores of the bag. However as soon as you start to use the machine the bag starts to fill with dust and debris. The bag acts as a filter and the machine starts to lose suction. This is because the pores of the bag begin to clog with the dust that the machine has picked up. This restricts the airflow which causes loss of suction power. How other bagless systems clog like bags When the vacuum cleaner is new, clean air flows through the container and out through the filters. However as soon as you start to use the machine the container starts to fill with dust and debris. The filters clog, and the machine starts to lose suction. This is because the surface of the filter becomes blocked with dust, restricting the airflow which causes a loss of suction power. Only Dyson doesn't lose suctionDyson Root Cyclone technology uses 100,000G of centrifugal force in the cyclones to filter dust and remove dirt from the airflow efficiently. Because there is nothing to obstruct the airflow, it doesn't clog and doesn't lose suction. How the Root8Cyclone gives higher suction power Spinning air creates centrifugal force.By making the air stream spin, dirt and debris are subjected to centrifugal force. The dirt and debris are thrown out of the air.Because the airflow is unobstructed there's nothing to clog, so suction power remains constant. Higher speed gives higher centrifugal force.A cone shape speeds up the spinning air to create even greater centrifugal forces (think of a car going round a tight bend compared to a gentle one: you can feel yourself being pushed to the outside of the car). This removes even the finest dust particles out of the air. More cyclones give even higher suction power. High volumes of air are spread simultaneously through many cyclones to give higher constant suction power - which means you pick up even more dust. Dirty air enters the outer cyclone which spins out the larger dust and dirt particles. The shroud is a vital dust and fluff separator.Even greater centrifugal forces in the inner cyclone remove more microscopic particlesRoot Cyclone technology removes more fine dust from the airflow than any other bag or 'bagless' system, so the filters don't clog. Dyson Story James DysonYou know the feeling when some everyday product lets you down. You wish someone could solve the problem. James Dyson does that. He is a man who likes to make things work better. With his research team he has developed products that have achieved sales of over $10 billion worldwide. The bag problemIn 1978, while vacuuming his home, James Dyson realized his bag vacuum cleaner was constantly losing suction power. He noticed how dust quickly clogged the pores of the bag and blocked the airflow, so that suction dropped rapidly. He set to work to solve this problem. 5 years and 5,127 prototypes later, the world's first cyclonic bagless vacuum cleaner arrived. No place for new technologyJames Dyson offered his invention to major manufacturers. One by one they turned him down, apparently not interested in new technology. They seemed determined to continue selling bags, worth $500 million every year. Later, Hoover's Vice President for Europe, Mike Rutter, said on UK national TV: "I do regret that Hoover as a company did not take the product technology off Dyson; it would have lain on the shelf and not been used". The first DysonSo James Dyson decided to manufacture his own vacuum cleaner. In June 1993 he opened a research center and factory near his home in England to begin making his machine. It even collected the finest particles of dust (microscopic particles as small as cigarette smoke) without clogging. The result was the Dyson Cyclone, the first vacuum cleaner that didn't lose suction. More cyclonesThe original team of 3 Dyson engineers grew to 350 scientists in a new research center, investigating ways to make products work better. Determined to create vacuums with even higher suction, the cyclonics team set to work developing an entirely new type of cyclone system. They discovered that spreading higher airflow through many cyclones generated even higher suction power, which picked up more dust from the floor. Hence the Root8Cyclone was created.

I researched on the Internet (Dyson has a great website) and read it in some magazines. I was impressed and decided to try it. After its use in my home, I can say that it is near, but not, unfortunately, perfect for my needs. I have a mix of floor coverings, parquet, linoleum, tile, carpet and rugs much. And I have a lot of dust, animals and humans have run through the house in all seasons. The Dyson's everything except the carpet, where he tends to try to swallow large ... The suction is impressive and I look forward to my (or anyone else) carpets the same way. I pulled the 3 containers of dirt, hair and sand out of my area rug 8 'x 11' with the first application of Dyson recently after a run on the same carpet with my old vacuum cleaner! Unfortunately Dyson also tried eating area rug and made a terrible sound, but do it after a call for free service Dyson (at 5.30 pm on a Sunday evening) I was instructed to turn off the "beater brush," and use the feature to just floors . The sound is horrible and "eats" stopped, but unfortunately without the brush drum, the machine has not done an adequate job cleaning the area rug. Good machine with limitations - and some instructions for maintenance by the user. By PM Gross bought the Dyson DC07 in December 2002, and is usually about 1 x hours twice a week on the mat. Our unit is under warranty. The vacuum cleaner market, in our opinion, is dominated by poor product design, plastic parts that break easily, motors that burn, belts that extend and break, expensive bags that filled almost immediately, and a very short life, our Dyson has acquitted pretty good. Many of the other positive comments about this program Dyson and will not be repeated here. We would add that Dyson has good telephone customer service and an online guide for the diagnosis, we see the negative aspects: - The Tube "on the floor" vacuum is not strong and is much more delicate than one type of tank "- not in position vertical "cleaner. If you are mostly out of the floor cleaning is probably not recommended for walking. -Although it is not in the instructions, customer service will tell you that suck up powder (plaster, carpet cleaner, carpet deodorizers) clog the HEPA filter and, finally, destroy the machine. If you plan to do this kind of work, something that uses disposable bags. -It is not in the instructions, but not executed.
