By Owen Jones I bought one of these guys now after having just returned my Dyson. That's right, I returned my Dyson! To be honest, I'm still scratching my head as to why so many people throw praise Dyson. I had one of his "animal" an empty day, and although it was a good product ... Really worth nearly $ 500? I mean, I'm talking a lot of money here, so why spend so much money on a vacuum cleaner? The simple answer is that you do not. The Dyson animal had only a small amount of debris from my apartment, fully carpeted, when I tried. The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser was almost half after I used today, just 12 hours after the Dyson. I'm not sure what to do with this, to be honest. The Bissell (which costs about 1 / 3 the price of the Dyson) seems to work much better even if the device is quite large, and requires some 'assembly (the instructions are a joke), I have more stories as clean as a result. And my biggest pet peeve on Dyson was that, after paying all that money for a product that has been called "animal", I always had to pay an additional $ 69 for fixing hair! It's me, or is someone trying to rob me here? (Edit: I was told that one of the Dyson attachment above). As for the Bissell, comes with all the attachments you need, and did a great job on my route, and my carpet. Even if the tube is not long like the Dyson, I was able to clean all that I need to clean without setbacks. My conclusion is this - if you believe that a Mercedes Benz is the best car out there because of its price, then you're probably better off with a Dyson. But if you just want a cleaner that does a decent job, no matter how much it costs, then with Bissell In a nutshell, my Bissell pet hair eraser vacuum cleaner does a better job than the Dyson Animal, I have an extra $ 300 more in your pocket. Now it looks like a game for you? -Update 04/04/2009- People continue to speculate on how the void does now, so I'm going to solve the problem. I'm still happy with my purchase, and stand by it. No, rubber hair is not perfect, that's why I gave it four stars instead of five. But a great job cleaning my carpet again, and I only had to replace the belt once because of my own mistakes. Looking at other reviews, it seems that people either love or hate. My advice if you are not sure, would be to buy one from a shop nearby, so you can return if you are not satisfied. -Update 10/12/2009- The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser finally died recently. So we managed to two years of that part of you will think is good for a $ 150 vacuum cleaner, while others have higher expectations. As for me, I think we're worth our money. It is good until recently when it just stopped working as before. Let me make it clear that we have a lot in our household vacuum - at least once a day - so this thing had to push through their steps. We are pleased with what we got out of the Bissell, and it will soon buy another. Also we can just go ahead and get the cheaper pet gum (Model # 4101) from Walmart today. 127 of 127 people found the following review helpful. Multi Pet Home to The Doghouse short, I finally got a vacuum that actually does what I need. Read the long review to see what I mean. I'll be honest. I destroy the vacuum. I have the Hoover, Dirt Devil, Kirby has, Eureka, and a few strange names I can not remember. Why so many? Well, my house is home to two very active adults, five dogs (four more than 85 pounds), three parrots, two turtles and other animals that I have promoted by a local rescue I.
